#Documenting the rumor: Rioters to be intentionally pushed into residential neighborhoods

I have a bunch of neighbors in East Phillips running around in a panic based on something they say they heard in a community meeting: The National Guard (and/or other military or police forces) are planning to "control" the crowds by forcing them up into our neighborhood.

It strikes me as an *incredibly* bad idea to put the lives of families in their homes in jeopardy like that.  I've tried to verify an actual source of the report to get some accountability, but nobody seems willing to document that this is coming from anyone with authority in the matter (although I am seeing a few related posts here regarding messages that "Law enforcement will not be able to discern between a dangerous person and a concerned resident.").  So I'm simply writing this to make sure that, if true and things go all squirrelly, nobody can say it was a choice by the rioters.

And if you're out to stir up trouble, please don't fall for this trap.  The people of Minneapolis should not be the target of your rage.  They're as under the thumb of this corruption as you are.
