Nobody is saying you can't spend your time and money doing whatever you like. I'm just saying that the actual value of that effort is going to be quite low. If you're fine with that, by all means drop as many different kinds of media as you can get your hands on into a hole in the ground and see where things stand in 20 years.
But, seriously, times have changed and the idea that a buried *thing* is going to be a precious, lasting reminder of what was happening in 2020 is just far-fetched. If digital data hoarding has any value, it's in the growing drive arrays that people are actively maintaining (with even home users quite possibly into the petabyte range by 2040). Prove me wrong! :-)
