Well, here I am.

As anticipated, moving Drupal was not as straightforward as it could have been, but it wasn't as horrible as it could have been, either. Nowhere near "deadly and unpredictable midget" territory. The biggest hassle was dealing with the database, but I think most things are sorted out. Certainly if you're reading this entry I couldn't have done too bad a job of it.
